(The route number coming in from Oxford isn't marked at the bottom of this map, only at the top, but Route 26 is the one on the bottom right. It curves to the right around the yellow area marked Brimstone Corner.  Also the map only shows Rte 118 coming in by Norway Lake and it does,  but  you are coming in on 117 closer to town!)

Directions from the East (from the coastal areas)
Depending where you are, you would probably be coming through Lewiston/ Auburn and picking up Rte 11 through Mechanic Falls and out to Rte 26, where you would turn right and follow the directions below.  You will only be 10 or 15 minutes away once you are on Rte 26
Please note if you need to go through Auburn there is construction on Rte 136 in Auburn, which you will be detoured around.  This should only take a few extra minutes.

If you are farther down the coast nearer to Portland, Kennebunk, Kennebunkport, Kittery, & York, you should probably take the Maine Turnpike, get off at Exit 63, the Gray Exit and follow Rte 26 north, check directions below.   There is some construction on Rte 26 through Poland, but that should only cause minimal amount of delay, and you are nearly there!
From Gray Exit you will be about 40-45 minutes away from Norway/Paris area.

Directions from Maine Turnpike

If  you are coming into Maine through Kittery on the Turnpike, stay on until Exit 63  which is the Gray Exit.  Upon exiting take Route 26 North and stay on Rte 26.  It will bring you directly to Norway, Maine.   You will know you are near when you come to the set of lights with Walmart on your left.  At the next light (about one mile) you will pass Hannaford (on the right). Continue straight almost another mile staying on Rte 26 (it  curves to the right by Aubuchon.  You will come to a third light with the Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School on your right.  Turn right (still Rte 26)  Within a few seconds you will see a large cemetary on your right and Shaner's Family Restaurant is across the street to your left.   Our free parking spaces (thank you Jack Shaner!) are on the left side of the restaurant as you look at it from the street, along the guardrail  (car dealership on other side of the rail)

Directions from NH, through Bridgton, Maine

If you are coming from around the Conway, or North Conway area you will be taking Rte 302 into Bridgton.   As you come into the village you will want to bear left at the top of the hill (I believe there is a statue there) and continue down through town to the traffic light where you should turn left on Rte 117.  (At this point you are only about 20-25 minutes from Norway/Paris area.)

This will take you through North Brighton, and Harrison.  You should be driving along beside a lake (to your left( as you leave  Harrison. Continue on Rte 117... it does curve on way and then another, but stay on it until you come out where you have to turn right or left and Norway Lake is  in front of you.  Turn right here and immediately after passing the end of the lake you will be on Main Street, Norway.

Stay on Main St bearing to the left  at the intersection by the Guy Rowe School, Congregational Church, and the Legion Hall.   You will come to a traffic light and should continue straight through that intersection.  Within a couple minutes you will see a cemetary on your right, and Shaner's Family Restaurant is across the street to your left.

Our free parking spaces (thank you Jack Shaner!) are on the left side of the restaurant as you look at it from the street, along the guardrail  (car dealership on other side of the rail)

                                       Directions from the Bethel Area
If you are coming from NH through Gorham, and Errol  whether you  plan to stay in the Bethel area or not,  I will  pick you  up at the RiteAid there in Bethel.  This will save you a half hour's time, not having to drive down to Norway (and then back!)  They allow MLT passengers to park free directly in back of their store, across from  their pharmacy drive-up window.    I will find address for RiteAid and put that on here asap so you can locate it with GPS, but the pharmacy is  on Rte 2 / Rte 5 just as you are heading out of Bethel going north  and east... towards Hanover & Rumford.

I ALMOST ALWAYS have my cell phone with me so if you are having difficulties, or just want to check with me for any reason, please call 207-890-5212
