Lucky Morning

A big bull moose approached another bull and cow

The bull who walked behind my car entered the bog and
approached a smaller bull and cow that were busy feeding.

A young bull and cow moose ignore a larger bull moose

After the initial "hellos" the smaller bull
turned and went back to feeding.

These two bull moose are ready to do battle.

Enter this big bull and the first bull
(partially hidden in this shot) was more aggressive.

Two bulls threaten each other before fighting.

Within seconds they were swaggering side to side and
"CRASH! CRASH!" slamming into each other and then
with antlers pressed together they had a short pushing
contest.  (It was so exciting I had trouble staying focused
so I threw down the camera and just watched!)

The stronger bull wins out!
T
he bull on the right appeared slightly larger, and the tines on his antlers were longer, which enabled him to draw blood on the other bull.  But, for some reason he lacked the confidence and turned away, leaving the other bull as victor.
