Lorna DeWitt: Needle Felting Artist - & Designer/Bears

Lorna is married and living in Maine with her husband Todd, two children, Aaron 11 and Emily 3 and their dog Chloe. She got started making bears about 3 yrs ago. Lorna's a stay at home mom who has always enjoyed crafts and sewing. She came across a cute pattern to make a teddy bear a couple of years back and decided to give it a try. She's been hooked on making bears ever since. She has since moved on to designing her own bear patterns and her bears come in all sizes big and small. Lorna uses synthetic furs as well as mohair. She also makes heirloom bears from vintage mink coats. One of her newest ventures in bear making is an old art called needle felting that is being revived today. The bear is made of 100% pure wool roving that is actually sculpted with a special needle. No pattern is ever used, so each bear is a one of a kind creation that takes a lot of time and love.

Her other hobbies include collecting bears and dolls, both old and new, walking, hiking, horseback riding and spending time playing with her children.

S/H prices are figured on shipping individual bears. If you order more than one the shipping can be combined to save on costs. Also the shipping quote is an estimate that will cover S/H, insurance to most areas (U.S. only), but it is possible there may be additional cost to some states. When ordering, if you contact me, I can combine shipping and invoice you) We do ship internationally, but please contact me before ordering as shipping quotes are for US only.
